Madelyn Hinshaw

Event Management – Charles County


Madelyn is a third-generation music teacher and recently completed her 8th year of teaching elementary general music in Charles County, MD. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Marshall University, WV and Masters in Kodály Music Education from Loyola University, MD. Music has played a vital role in her life ever since a young age where she learned to play the flute at age 10. She is a past member of the Southern Maryland Concert Band, founded by her grandfather, Charles Armstrong. While a student at Marshall University she was a member of the Marshall University Chorus, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Fife and Drum Corp, and the Thundering Herd Marching Band. Madelyn has led workshops at Loyola University, guest conducted the St. Mary’s Elementary All County Chorus, and is currently a member of the Southern Maryland Flute Choir. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, and spend time with her friends and family. She is looking forward to working alongside her mom to make the dream of Hope and Harmony a reality!
