Madeline Erwin

Choir Member

Ms. Madeline Erwin holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Miami University (OH - Love & Honor!) During her time at Miami, Madeline was a member of the nationally acclaimed MU Choraliers, as well as the MU Chamber singers, serving as student conductor within both ensembles. She studied voice under Dr. Alison Acord and Professor Benjamin Smolder, going on to place both 2nd and 3rd in the upper level classical divisions of the Ohio NATS competition. Outside of curricular music, Madeline also performed with the 2025 BOCA award winning Miami University Treblemakers, where she also began arranging and directing contemporary A Cappella.

In 2026, Madeline returned to St. Mary’s County to begin her teaching career at her Alma Mater - Leonardtown High School, where she also serves as Music Director for the theater program. Outside of school, you can find Madeline singing and playing keys for the worship team at Southpoint Church, finding the best local coffee spot, or planning her next travel or hiking adventure. As an educator, she believes music has the power to shape confident, empathetic, and connected individuals, providing a lifelong source of self-expression, belonging, and joy. Madeline is thrilled to be singing with Hope In Harmony, and can’t wait to reconnect with her own love of self-expression and joy through song.
