
David Fazekas

David Fazekas, Tenor, originally from New Orleans Louisiana, grew up in Calvert County Maryland, where he attended Calvert High School, was later awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and a Bachelor of Performance in Voice from Louisiana State University under the instruction of Terry P. Harris, as well as a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance, at the University of Missouri, where he was awarded a teaching assistantship for voice and studied under professor Steven Tharp. He has been apart of multiple collegiate and church choral ensembles throughout his journey as a singer and is currently a member of the Cathedral Choral Society in Washington D.C. as well as a singer for St. David’s Episcopal Church in North West D.C. He has performed in multiple collegiate and professional opera companies such as Show Me Opera, in Columbia Missouri, the Missouri Symphony, and The National Concert Opera Chorus in Washington D.C. He is passionate in performing and teaching music to build up a community and is delighted to use his instrument and abilities to achieve this shared goal with the Hope for Harmony Organization where his musical journey began, in Southern Maryland.
