Claire Menges

Music has always been an important part of my life. Born and raised in Honolulu, my childhood was surrounded by music, fishing and beach life. Family parties were filled with the sound of my mother singing and my uncles playing ukeleles and guitars. At 16 I started singing professionally doing weddings, conventions, and other celebrations. I eventually became a full-time Music Director at Leonardtown Baptist Church (2001-2010). I continue to serve at Leonardtown as an accompanist and vocalist. My husband and I enjoy singing together, but we especially love hearing our children and grandchildren sing. It is a joy to sing alongside my son, Tony, and granddaughter, Abby in Hope in Harmony—three generations!
