Christopher Limjuco

Choir Member

Mr. Christopher J. Limjuco has a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Vocal Performance from Ave Maria University and a Masters of Music Degree in Choral Conducting from Shenandoah Conservatory. A native of St. Mary’s County, he sang in the St. Mary’s River Concert Series.

At Ave Maria University, he studied under Dr. Taylor Ferranti (classical voice) and Dr. Brice Gerlach (conducting) and served as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist for the university. He won 3rd place in the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition and sang with the Artis-Naples Philharmonic Choir.

After graduating from AMU, he worked as a music teacher at public and private schools in central and southwest Florida as well as a music minister, young adult mentor, and music consultant for churches.

During his time with Shenandoah Conservatory, he studied under Dr. Richard W. Robbins and performed at the La Biennale di Venezia in 2022 and performed for the opera program under the direction of Ella Marchment and conductors Jan Wagner and Emmanuele Andrizzi for Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shostakovich’s Moscow, Cheryomushki and most recently toured Spain and Portugal to perform in Handel’s Acis and Galatea. He actively sang in churches and community and gospel choirs in Northern Virginia and was a graduate student conductor for Shenandoah Conservatory's Tenor/Bass choir and Mixed Choir.

He is an active member in the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA). He most recently assisted in the ACDA Voices United Conference as a singer and student ambassador.
