Amy Gass

Amy is a native of western Pennsylvania and holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music Education from Duquesne University. She spent 12 years teaching high school chorus at Northern High School in Calvert County before stepping back to focus on family after the birth of her daughter, Olivia. Currently, Amy teaches general music and chorus, and produces the spring musical at Evergreen Elementary School in St. Mary’s County. She lives in Leonardtown with her loving and supportive husband, Dean, and their daughter, Olivia. Together, they have three children: Timmy, Jessica, and Olivia. Amy is especially excited to be singing alongside Olivia, who is serving as an HIH Intern this year. A lifelong musician and educator, Amy enjoys traveling, solving crossword puzzles, leading worship at her church, and FaceTiming with her granddaughter, Eliza. She is thrilled to be part of a choir again and looks forward to sharing her passion for music with others.
